Padmini Coopamah Waldron, PhD is the Director of the Office of Honors Research in the Burnett Honors College. Dr. Waldron holds master’s and doctoral degrees in political science from the University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree with honors in French from the University of Mauritius. Prior to joining UCF, Dr. Waldron was Associate Director of SOURCE (Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Previously, she was Assistant and Associate Professor of Political Science, with teaching and research interests in international development, ethnic conflict, and democratic norms in sub-Saharan Africa.
