Once a Knight, always a Knight!

Burnett Honors College alumni are shining Knights representing the best of the best UCF has to offer. We encourage alumni to stay engaged with their alma mater and, especially, with BHC. Whether you want to network with fellow BHC alumni, mentor current students, hire BHC interns, attend fun social events, and/or make a financial gift, there are several ways to stay in touch.

Family Field Day

This annual event brings together BHC alumni families and current BHC families for a fun, casual day of games, activities, and food. Held at the BHC building in conjunction with UCF’s Family Weekend during football season, past Family Field Days have included appearances by Knightro, Pegasus and Knugget, a petting zoo, field games, and food. Check our calendar for this year’s date.

Are you a vendor who is interested in making an in-kind donation for this or other BHC events (food, beverages, inflatables, entertainment, etc.)? Please contact Joey Asti, Administrative Assistant to Dean Sheila Amin Gutiérrez de Piñeres, at 407-823-3649 or joey.asti@ucf.edu.

Mentorship

Mentoring a current BHC student is one of the most personal and fulfilling ways for alums to give back. You will make a direct lasting impact on a student’s future by simply sharing your experiences and advice. Mentorship can be done on your schedule – meeting for coffee once, regularly connecting via video conference, reviewing a resume, or participating in ongoing shared experiences like sporting events or the arts – whatever your capacity, we can help you make it a rewarding experience for both you and your mentee.
