Once a Knight, always a Knight!

Burnett Honors College alumni are shining Knights representing the best of the best UCF has to offer. We encourage alumni to stay engaged with their alma mater and, especially, with BHC. Whether you want to network with fellow BHC alumni, mentor current students, hire BHC interns, attend fun social events, and/or make a financial gift, there are several ways to stay in touch.

Social Media

Follow us on social media and like, comment and/or share our content! Your engagement will help us increase our reach and connect with individuals and companies that have the resources to help our Scholars with internships, jobs, or financial support.

Events

Family Field Day
This annual event brings together BHC alumni and their families as well as current BHC Scholars and their families for a fun, casual day of games, activities, and food. Held at the BHC building on the first Saturday of February, past Family Field Days have included appearances by Knightro, Pegasus and Knugget, a petting zoo, field games, and food. Check our calendar for this year’s date.

BHC Alumni and Friends Homecoming Celebration
BHC alumni and friends are invited back to BHC for Homecoming! Held at the BHC building, this annual celebration takes place on the Friday of UCF’s Homecoming Weekend, prior to the Ignite the Knight fireworks. Free food and drinks are offered, including beverages donated by a local brewery. Check our calendar for this year’s date.

Sponsorships Available
Are you a vendor who is interested in making an in-kind donation for these or other BHC events (food, beverages, inflatables, entertainment, etc.)? Please contact Joey Asti, Executive Assistant to Dean Sheila Amin, at 407-823-3649 or joey.asti@ucf.edu.

Mentorship

Mentoring a current BHC Scholar is one of the most personal and fulfilling ways for alums to give back. You will make a direct lasting impact on a Scholar’s future by simply sharing your experiences and advice. Mentorship can be done on your schedule – meeting for coffee once, regularly connecting virtually, reviewing a resume, or participating in ongoing shared experiences like sporting events or the arts – whatever your capacity, we can help you make it a rewarding experience for both you and your mentee.

Ready to get started? Contact Martin Dupuis, PhD, Senior Associate Dean, at 407-823-2076 or martin.dupuis@ucf.edu.

Philanthropy

Our alumni believe in the transformative power of our community. BHC is more than just a place to study; it’s a home away from home where lifelong connections are forged and dreams are realized. Our community of Scholars thrives thanks to donor-supported programs and scholarships. Your gift, no matter the size, has the power to ensure Scholars have the resources they need to succeed.
