The Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence is accepting applications for its Study Abroad Scholarship for Fall 2017!

The deadline to apply is July 21, 2017.

The IC CAE’s main goal is to prepare students for careers in national security and intelligence. In these fields, an international perspective is crucial for dealing with the variety of issues & challenges. For this reason, the IC CAE provides funding for study abroad programs for students who have the goal of working in intelligence or security agencies.

This competitive, merit-based scholarship is awarded up to $3,000 for undergraduate students and up to $8,000 for graduate research. This scholarship is interdisciplinary and is open to many courses of study, as long as the course work reflects material that could be beneficial to a future in intelligence and national security.  Many skills and areas of expertise are in critical need right now in the security and intel communities. These areas include, but are not limited to: Political Science, Critical Languages, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Finance, Business Administration, and Engineering.  For more ideas on how your academic path could lead to the intelligence community, visit IntelligenceCareers.gov
