UCF 50 TBHC Events

 

The Burnett Honors College will sponsor activities and events throughout the spring semester, including several signature events during the college's designated week of celebration, April 1-5.  The include the following.

 

April 3rd

 

Dr. Tyler Fisher Luncheon 12-1:30pm

Students are invited to a Distinguished Honors Luncheon recognizing Dr. Tyler Fisher, UCF’s first Rhodes Scholar. Dr. Fisher is currently a Lecturer in Hispanic Studies in the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of London.  In 2003, he graduated from The Burnett Honors College at UCF with University Honors and Honors in the Major distinction with baccalaureate degrees in English Literature and Spanish. TBHC alumnus Tyler Fisher will be our keynote speaker. He will speak on the importance of mentors and mentoring.

Networking Nights 6-8pm

Burnett Honors College Alumni and Student Networking Knight Participants will engage in professional development and have the opportunity to learn more about the BHC mentorship program, hear testimonials and network.
