Summer Internships with UCF's Office of Global Perspectives

If you are interested in global issues and want to gain course credit and experience, then you might consider applying for an internship at GP. The office is offering several internship positions for the summer semester. Students from any major or educational institution can apply. We even have a slot for a high school intern. In addition to research and office assistance, summer interns help to plan the multiple public events that GP organizes during the fall and spring semesters. Most interns are eligible to receive course credit for their time and effort, if they seek it.

Internships require an applicant to have a minimum 3.0 GPA, to be at least a Junior (60 credit hours) and to submit an application and resume by 11:59 p.m. on April 28, 2017. The internship has a weekly time commitment of approximately 15 hours, with 10 hours dedicated to time in the office. To apply, or for more information, students can go to the GP website or contact the Student Supervisor, Jessica Squires. "The internship is a great way to improve your research, writing and professional skills in a globally oriented environment. The experience is as rewarding for us at GP as it is for the students. We look forward to your applications," says Squires.

If you or someone you know would like to apply for a summer internship, learn more at the opportunities section of our website. We also are thinking ahead to the fall semester, and have all of our paid internship opportunities listed at the top left of this page. Check them out!
