Honors in the Major Outstanding Thesis Award Recipients

  Back

Prior to 2003, three winners were selected from all the eligible Honors in the Major graduates. As Honors in the Major began to grow, and more students completed theses and graduated from the program, three to four students (usually one First Place and one runner-up for two categories) were selected to receive awards. These students are nominated by their thesis chair and academic department, and the University Honors Committee reviews all the nominated theses to choose the award winners. The first place winners of each category receive $500 prizes, and the runners-up receive $300 awards. Below is a listing of students who have won Founders' Day Outstanding Thesis Awards.
