Students attending the USF Medical School during their fourth year of matriculation (3 + 4 track) may transfer a maximum of 30 hours of course work taken at USF toward their UCF undergraduate degree. Such students fulfilling the accelerated 3 + 4 track will receive their BS degree from the University of Central Florida after successfully completing all UCF requirements and the requirements of the first year of medical education at USF.
The USF College of Medicine will provide oversight of the 4-year medical school curricular component of the program.
Applying to the program:
Students must first apply and be accepted to UCF, and also must apply and be accepted to Honors, before they can submit the application to this accelerated medical program. postmarked). Students who are interested in this program must submit their
completed University Honors application to The Burnett Honors College Admissions
office no later than March 15th (received, not postmarked) to ensure that
the Honors Admission staff has time to ensure eligibility for the program, and
has time to inform the student of their admission status with Honors.
Applications to the UCF/USF Accelerated/Early Acceptance Medical Honors Program
submitted past the deadline will not be considered.
